Mui Ne - beach town

It was certainly nice to get out of the buzz and bustle of Saigon to the beautiful Vietnam beaches.  We took a bus to Mui Ne, a small town 4 hours northeast of HCMC.  Mrs. Rubert made quite the friend on the bus.  She sat next to a young Vietnamese woman who insisted on talking the entire 4 hours.  She asked many many questions, including "What time do you go to bed at night in America?" and "Do you like brown skin?" (women over here stay covered up to remain as white as possible).  She also insisted that Mrs. Rubert try the unidentifiable foods the girl picked up at a roadside stop.  The girl eventually asked if she could stay with Mrs. Rubert in Mui Ne.  And wouldn't you know it, but we get back on the bus to return to Saigon two days later and who is in the seat next to Mrs. Rubert? Yup, her bus buddy.  More weird foods that must be sampled, more questions, etc.

What else?  The sun was super intense, but luckily it wasn't always out, as it rained hard (very hard) every afternoon.  Not much else to tell, really, just totally relaxing.

I could probably say more, but I'm tired.  Some pics:
